Smallrung is a planning tool. You give it a goal and a deadline; it works out whether the goal fits in the time you have, then gives you one card a day until the deadline. When the deadline passes, the goal ends — that is the point of the product.
Habits work the same way with one difference: a habit has no natural deadline, so you pick a runway (21, 66 or 90 days). When the runway ends, the habit is yours and the app stops asking about it.
Two ways to buy it, both one time.
No subscription. No auto-renewal. Nothing is charged later, and there is nothing to cancel.
If you expect to set more than five goals here, $149 is the cheaper math. We say that on the pricing screens too, and we mean it.
If it doesn't work for you, email us within 30 days of purchase and we refund the full amount. We won't ask why, and we won't require you to prove you used it.
We'd rather refund you than have you keep paying attention to something that isn't helping.
This is a licence, not a sale of the software. You get the right to use Smallrung; the code stays ours. What you write in it — your goal, your plan, your records — is yours, and exports as JSON at any time.
You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute access. You may not use it to run a competing service.
Not medical advice. Smallrung is a planning and record-keeping tool, not a medical device, and not a substitute for a doctor, dietitian, therapist, or coach. It does not diagnose or treat anything.
Weight-related goals involve health risk. Talk to a clinician before starting, especially if you have an eating disorder history, are pregnant, are under 18, or take medication that affects weight. The app screens for a few of these and will decline to plan in some cases — that screening is a safety floor, not a medical assessment.
We do not promise you'll reach your goal. No honest tool can. What the product promises is narrower and checkable: the plan it gives you fits inside the time you gave it, the actions get smaller rather than disappearing when you can't do them, and you'll be told up front when a goal doesn't fit rather than at the end when you've already failed at it.
We also don't promise the service will never break. It's a small operation. If it goes down, your data stays in your browser, and the calendar subscription keeps working from the last version your calendar app downloaded.
What happens if we close.
Before the five years are up, we refund the unused part of the $149 in proportion to the time left, and the full amount on the $29 goal licence if its goal is still running.
After them, no refund is due — and nothing is taken from you: your plan and records are already in your browser and export as JSON.
The honest limit: the plan, the cards and your records work without our servers. The daily email and the calendar feed do not. If we close, those stop. The plan itself is already yours.
Don't use the service to plan anything illegal, to harm yourself or someone else, or to send email to people who didn't agree to receive it. If you add someone's email address for the weekly update, you confirm you have their permission — and they can unsubscribe from every email with one click.
To the extent the law allows: our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the previous 12 months. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses — lost time, lost opportunities, missed deadlines in other parts of your life.
Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law where you live, and nothing here excludes liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
If we make a material change to these terms, we'll say so in the app before it applies. You can stop using the product at any time; removing the app and clearing browser data removes your data.
If we ever shut the service down, we'll give at least 90 days' notice by email, and we'll publish a way to export everything before it goes.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes go to the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
